Mel's Smells Product Disclaimer
Candle, tart melt pops, spray and tart burner disclaimer
WARNING! Failure to follow these instructions can result
in burn, fire injury and/or property damage.

NEVER LEAVE A BURNING CANDLE AND/OR TARTS UNATTENDED!!!!

Keep burning candles and tarts away from children and
pets.

Do not place near flammable objects such as curtains,
walls, etc.

Place candles and tart burners on a protected, heat
resistant, level surface.

Keep candle free of wick trimmings, matches, or other
foreign matter that could be a fire hazard.

Avoid burning in drafts.
-
Avoid walking with lit candles and tart burners.
-
Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times to avoid carbon
build up on the wick (mushrooming), dark smoking, and soot in the air and
on walls or furniture.

Allow candle to cool before trimming wick or relighting.
-
Remove all decorations (fabric, raffia, etc) before
burning candle.
-
Never leave a candle burning more than three hours at a
time!

Discontinue burning when 1/2 inch of wax remains.

Use ONLY a safe, good quality tart burner. Follow
manufacturer directions for proper usage.

DO NOT EAT Pops (TARTS)!

Use caution at all times ~ tart burners do get hot.
~~Tip~~
Did you know that a candle has a memory? When burning a candle for the
first time, it's suggested that you burn it one hour for each inch in
diameter. This will allow the pool of wax to extend to the outside and
will prevent your candle from forming a "canyon" in the center. Burning a
candle this way will also set its memory. Each time you burn the candle it
will "remember" to burn to it's edge.

set these on wood surfaces as the oils can stain the wood!

set them on painted surfaces or plastic surfaces as the oils can damage
these surfaces!

Do not
set on hot surfaces or in extremely hot enclosed areas as plastic could
melt!

of the reach of children and pets!

The
fragrance will last for a month (mostly more), depending on the
fragrance, use, and exposure.
